Kingsley graduates Kindergarten this month! Woot woot! We are super excited and proud of all the work he’s put into his Kindergarten year. I homeschool Kingsley, so it’s really a blessing to be able to watch him grow and learn. I get to see first hand what his strengths are and what he’s not so into. But even the subjects he’s not really into, he still wants to get them down. I love that! He tries his best. If you ask him, he will tell you that he LOVES science! This kid loves to break things down! He needs to know why and how something is the way it is. He also needs to know the history behind EVERYTHING. It’s super cool to see how curious he is about anything that comes his way.
So with him being homeschooled, we get to plan out his graduation. We bought him a cute cap and gown, some decorations and told him the day will be all about him! First thing on his agenda is, what special meal and dessert will be served lol. So per his request he is having sushi and red velvet cake.
We are going to have a little social distance gathering at a field where his grandparents, great grandparents, uncles and aunts can see him in his little get up and shower him with love 6-10 feet away. It’s not ideal but we are making the best out of the situation while keeping everyone’s health and boundaries in mind because don’t nobody in my family play with the Rona! Maybe Krew will try to join us that day! You never know!
How are you celebrating your kid’s graduation or your own? I’d love to hear about it!

Congratulations Kingsley you’re looking good.
